Antonia,
You probably don't know the answer, but I have to ask:
"What is general healing?"
JT, you're right I don't know; I've never been to one. Notice the apostrophes :) I'm writing only what I heard from the priest today. Apparently the difference between 'general' and non-general(?) is that there's "laying of hands" in the latter. But I believe that all masses heal, if only we have more faith!
Antonia,
I just got an inside scoop from my friend who was there tonight and last night. From his description it sounded very much like intercessory prayers.
I see... thanks for the info, though I'm not particularly interested in the healing mass as the Procession. I think Corpus Christi is one of the most beautiful and yet underappreciated feasts in the Church calendar.
Last year the Mass I attended had a cantor singing the sequence very poorly; he stumbled over several words and it was simply excruciating to hear. Anyway, I have not seen a Eucharistic procession in Singapore before, and I would very much like to be there, although it might just be a short walk around the Cathedral.
Hi Antonia,
Really don't know much about general healing or Procession.
Will join you for Corpus Christi. See you ;)
Bravo
