Feast of St Thomas Aquinas

I'm re-reading a light book from one of my all-time favorite secular scientists, Richard P. Feynman called "The Meaning of It All". Though he's an atheist, and more 'rational' when it comes to faith than most secular scientists I have encountered, I think St. Thomas Aquinas would give him a run for his money when it comes to proving not only there is a God, but also there is no conflict between science and religion!

Will write about this as I read on. Just thought to post this in honor of one of my favorite saints :)

Richard Feynman… the guy who propel me into to the wonders of science & engineering…

We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on.
Richard Feynman
(1918 - 1988)

Happy reading...God Bless.

I love Richard Feynman! I hope you'll be 'blogging about this book, which is one I've never read. My favourite book of his is Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman, which is more of an autobiography than a science book, admittedly, but which makes a very fun read.

Antonia: Hello to you too! :)

Albert & Enbrethiliel: Richard Feynman is a fine scientist, and an even finer teacher! I picked up his physics lectures & short physics text, and nearly went to study physics at university inspired by his example. Anyway, Enbrethiliel, I won't be writing quite a review of his book; he deserves to be read and I'm sure he has inspired numerous response... perhaps I could send you a copy of this book sometime ;)
